Gellert Dornay - Chief Executive Officer

Gellert Dornay is the Chief Executive Officer of Axia Financial and leads the development and execution of the company's strategic plans and objectives, and directs all corporate operations.  He is a co-founder of the company and was instrumental in assembling the excellent team that is responsible for making Axia Financial a strong independent Northwest mortgage banker.

Prior to Axia Financial, Gellert provided leadership to the Seattle start-up, Java Trading Co.  He facilitated the development of the business into a leading global specialty coffee roaster. 

Gellert and his wife Elizabeth live on Mercer Island with their eight children.  He enjoys spending time with his family and is an avid soccer player.  He is active in the community and is a member of several non-profit and education boards and committees.

Bill Duffy - President

Bill Duffy is the President of Axia Financial and is responsible for all sales initiatives.  Prior to his position with Axia Financial, he was the founder and President of Homestead Mortgage.  Previous to Homestead Mortgage, he was a high producing loan originator and manager for two other local mortgage bankers.

Bill is a member of the Washington State Mortgage Professionals (WAMP), Seattle Mortgage Bankers Association (SMBA) and the Leadership Council at Seattle Children's Hospital.  He has his Bachelor of Arts in Finance from Washington State University and lives in Bothell with his wife and three children.  He is an active member of the Northshore Baptist Church.  His recreational time is spent fly fishing, golfing and reading.
